Women in Fund Finance invites you to ring in 2023 with an evening of cocktails and conversation with Jenn Toyzer, Co-Founder and CEO of UME Plum Liqueur.

Join us as Jenn tells the amazing story of how she took UME from vision to launch in roughly six months. We will also hear how after eight years in investment banking and investing at Goldman Sachs she transitioned to founder of this unique and rapidly growing brand. Jenn will lead us through a tasting of UME and introduce us to their delicious and stunning purple cocktails.

Leah Edelboim is a Partner in Cadwalader’s fund finance practice where she advises banks and other financial institutions on syndicated, club, and bilateral subscription credit facilities as well as NAV, hybrid, and other fund finance transactions. She is an author and educator on fund finance, including as a regular contributor to Cadwalader’s weekly newsletter, Fund Finance Friday. Leah is also an active member of Women in Fund Finance. She received her B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. Before attending law school, Leah worked as a journalist and television producer.

‌Michele Simons is a Managing Director in the Subscription Finance Group / Financial Institutions Group, a division of Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking. Ms. Simons is Co-Head of US Originations for Subscription Finance Group providing lending facilities to private equity style funds. Michele oversees team origination, structuring, and execution of these facilities for the clients of Wells Fargo. Previously, Ms. Simons was Head of Subscription Finance and ABF Loan Syndications, providing dedicated distribution capabilities and supporting origination efforts across the Subscription Finance Group as well as the Asset-Backed Finance platform.

Michele, currently serves on the steering committee for the Corporate and Investment Banking Women GoFar Network and is also a member of the US Committee of the Women In Fund Finance. Michele lives in New York with her husband.
